He's lucky to be alive me thinks.
If they had been seen jumping over fences like that and approaching the presidents plane US gaurds would have shot at them fearing they were terroists planting a bomb or something. |

My view is that graffiti is like speeding. I don't have anything against it so long as it's done appropriately; A well executed mural on a backstreet wall? Lovely. A shabby tag on a war memorial? Not nice. The idea that it makes an area look rough is a bit blinkered too. Sure, no one wants "FTP" and "xxx is a dead man." on their house wall, but I don't let a bit of graf put me off an area. I'm even looking at buying a house that has some graffiti (old, poorly done tags) sprayed on the back of the garage. If I buy it, I'll do a mural over it that is to my taste and chances are the kids will respect it and won't paint over it. Interestingly, socialogical studies have shown that the best solution to graf is a "battle of wills" of just repainting over the grafitti every day. Eventually they'll stop. |
Take serious balls to do something like that. Can u imagine the base commanders face in the morning when george turns up and finds someone has vanalised his aircraft.
How funny would it be if they had to use it for goverment business the next day, is there only 1 airforce one? |
If there are any 2000AD fans here, there was a good Judge Dredd story a few years back where a pair of graffiti artists are having a 'battle' defacing each others tags and it culminates in the pair of them defacing a "statue of liberty" type civic statue. :)
