Defacing fairing to fit crash bungs?

I was advised by Crescent Suzuki in Bournemoth that they would have to cut holes  in my SV's lower fairing to fit crash bungs. I'm sure they're not talking borrox, but has anyone had this done? Can anyone post (or email) pics of the end result?

Yes if you have the older style R&G or most other manufactuers bungs, but if you get the new R&Gs they fit without needing any cutting.

If you are talking about a pointy, then R&G do a set of bungs and mountings that mean you can use the holes already present in the fairing. Therefore, no cutting is required.

Same for the curvey.

Thanks TSM
