Just out of interest who gives blood?

I do.

I would do, but im not allowed to. Not because i have some blood borne illness or virus. Im not diabetic, HIV positive etc, theres nothing wrong with my blood. But Im still not allowed to donate.

I do. In fact, I was going to this week, but I've had a stinking cold for the last two days. Will see if I'm feeling better before they leave.

I do, something that costs nothing, but could save a life. Its got to be done.

I do, I really enjoy doing so.
Everyone is really friendly and they all but force feed you biscuits and orange squash.

And all you have to do is lay down for a bit with a needle in your arm.

Every time i try to they tell me "sorry we can't accept your blood at the moment because........" and they give me another different excuse. :roll:

It's been Holiday in a Malari (SP) risk place, Tattoo recently done, anthrax in my system, I might give up soon.

Some people are just so picky aren't they ! :lol:

I can't for another 10 months just had an operation so gotta wait a year

Yes I always try to go and donate. Its not much effort plus you get free tea and biscuits

Well there either desperate for blood or there not, i think if i was leaking and in need of a few pints of blood then Anthrax is a small price to pay. :lol:
