Replaced Oil, Plugs and Air filter. What next
 

bought my bike in feb with 9k miles now have 11k. Last dealer stamp was 4k. The guy I bought it off says he did a service at 8k but I have no way of knowing for sure.

So i replaced the oil (fairly black), Air filter (again dirty with bugs) and tonight plugs.

My question is what else do I need to do for a full service and how do I do it ( I'm a n00b at this stuff)?

Sounds like you've covered the basics, check the chain and sprockets along with the brake pads and well brake system including brake fluid, coolant level and state and also give the bearings and wheels a check too

Just noticed you changed the oil, did you change the oil filter? Im not sure whats involved at 11k but check all of the above as it wont hurt

Yes changed the oil filter aswell. Just chenged the pads and brake lines to braided a couple of weeks ago. So about done then :lol:

I'd grease the rear suspension linkage and the steering bearings.
I change coolant every two years, and brake fluid every year.

most over looked items at regular service intervals are cleaning & lubing shift linkage, lube & adjust cables, lube lever pivot bolts, clean brake calipers and stuff like that, even more important if you have ridden on wet roads at all,

dirty linkage is common cause of missed shifts false neutrals etc. not cleaning your calipers leads to sticky brakes
