And the Tornado made its presence known Pictures arent impressive tbh. You dont get to watch it rush past you and wait for the sound to catch up a second or two later. :)

I'd love to be in the back seat of a Tornado when they do this stuff.

I wished your camera had a better zoom. Ahh, anyway the pics I took with your camera seem to have come out well.

:notworthy: I'd love to fly in somthing like that.
Just sitting in a WW2 bomber makes you realise how scary it must of been for lads who flew them in anger over the Reich. Espeacially the 8th USAAF who did it it broard daylight.

not been in B17, but have flown in a Shackleton which is an evolution of the Lancaster bomber.

I'm an engineer in the RAF i fix tornado f3's as my job. As a kind of thankyou and an insight so i can see what the pilots get up to i was lucky enough to be taken up in the back seat when i was out in cyprus last year. I got a shot of flying it when we were out at sea doing a few rolls inverted flight etc and i went supersonic for a bit it all seemed very easy until the pilot took over and started doing aerobatics.

Was a mental mental expieriance and i have total admiration for what the pilots can do. On my trip i peaked at about 4.5g and was violently being sick from all the crazyness of being upside down not knowing where i was... The pilots regularly pull 6g on a normal flight as well as all the aerobatics my stomach just wasnt up to that i geuss all the training helps with that.

Think i'll stick to just fixing them.
