Over milage on 1st service?

The bike is on 550 miles. Its such a nice day and i want to take it out for a ride, but first service is booked in on friday, and i understand that this is the most critical one!!

Does it matter much if i perhaps take it to 650 miles before the service?

nope
first service is basically an oil & filter change, as this is when most 'debris' is likeley to occur due to the new parts mating together as part of the running in process.
