K5 Versus K6
 

Hi all

Just about to buy my wife an SV650. Want to make sure they sell her a K6 instead of a K5 is there anything obvious I should look for please?

I think they are the same only diffrent colours between years

Colours only me thinks.

However...should say on the V5....probably some frame numbers that you can find out too.

However a K5 may work out a little cheaper for the wad...so don't ignore.

If the dealer says it's a K5 or K6 then he has to stand by what he sells.

The simple way to find out if its a K6 or K5 is look at the service book you get woth the bike as there will be a pink sticker in the fornt page that says what model it is.

To be honest though it makes no diffrence as only the colours have changed this year. The k6 red is a flat red where the k5 was metalic. I got a Red K5 on an 06 plate and am proper happy with it.
