Bike wont start - FI warning light flashing

Bugger bugger bugger.

after finally getting round to trying the bike since i went away and having to put a new battery in it the bike now wont start.

when I turn the ignition on the Fi light comes straight on, the fuel pump tries to whiir but it only does it half heartedly and the choke on the throttle bodies seems to activate okay aswell.

anyone got any ideas?

Disconnect the battery, turn the ignition to on (don't press the starter button), leave for 5 minutes (to discharge any capacitors in it and reset the ECU). Reconnect the battery and try it again. HTH

Have you tilted you tilt switch? If all else fails put the bike into dealer moder.

tilt switch seems okay.

Whats the dealer mode and what does it do?
