Thieving scum

A couple of days back I had to pop out of work, I had to go to Argos to get something I had reserved on the spur of the moment about 30 mins earlier, I don’t normally go out at lunch on my bike but this day I did.

I was warming my bike up a bit and having a smoking chatting to some colleagues when a large white van pulls into the back car park at work. My initial thoughts to this was, ****s gone the wrong way and he has no hope in hell of turning round in our car park at the back. Parked up with next to me were my mates KTM LC4 640 and a Yamaha Virago. I shot off as the van was turning to go to Argos but on my return found out that the scum sucking leeches in the van and jumped out and grabbed the KTM stuffing it in the back. My mate and run out and jumped on the back of the van but got shoved out (he was a lucky lad tbh, anything could have happened) and a couple of the guys chased off in their cars after the van but lost it.

The Van had been used in the job in Chester earlier that day but I think my bike could have gone as well or instead, it was locked up when not used at work and the KTM wasn’t but they could have pulled it over or anything costing me loads of coin. The spur of the moment trip to Argos cost me £50 but I reckon saved me hundreds, I feel rather lucky but am really sad for me m8 and his KTM.

No news as yet about the KTM or the crim butt bandits but I think that this was planned a few weeks in advance.

There are so scum sucking low lives around that deserve to be shot dead and then ****ed on for the fun of it.

bloody thieves - but there is a lesson to be learned, always chain your bike up whenever it's left unattended.. :(

9/10 bike thefts are from opportunists who target things they can lift away into a van, with a bike like a KTM it would be especially vulnerable to scumbags :(

Problem is, there isn't always an immovable object to lock it to :(

On a good (ish) note the company are now going to fit a number of good quality ground anchors and a number of high end chains (on a loan bases) to lock the bikes down for the employes with bikes which I think is a really nice gesture.
