what everyone think of the AGV Ti Tech White Zoo

Gettin one end of the month

anyone got one Ti Tech or a white oo any good lid

i been used to cheap £100 lids time i get a nice one i think

The Ti-Techs are nice helmets, but make sure they are fitted properly, they can all be fitted by changing around the internal paddings. They don't take too long to break in either. They are a carbon kevlar composite and really light weight.

The visor mechanism is a bit strange and takes some getting used to, not as quick or as easy as Arai or Shoei.

The white zoo is a nice design. I like the phoenix like bird on it and the dolphins :D, it would look really nice with an iridium visor on it too, and AGV do a road legal iridium visor.

I've got a ti tech lid and as already mentioned make sure you get the sizing right, I brought a xl after trying on a lrge and finding it too tight on the forehead( wore it for about 15mins in the shop ), though after using it for about a year it seems really loose. Even with washing the inners it still feels loose, think next time I'll get a lrge and put up with the tightness until it wears in .

Oh also think the zoo lid looks great, going to look at one this weekend but not sure if I can really spend the money !

Well I went and brought the White Zoo lid on Saturday, firstly, much better fit than my old ti tech ( I got a large this time instead of extra large, strange as when I tried a large on when I got the first ti tech it felt really really tight hence I got the extra large :? ), the lid feels somehow even lighter and they've changed the inner material which fells alot nicer. Noise has been cut down but this is probably due to lid fitting better. Think the graphics look great and not to much of a race rep lid as he wore that design only once, scared of looking like a boy racer type, but hey I like it. I got it from HG which are also giving away AGV bags for free when you by an AGV lid, bonus ! :D

Though I must admit I told the girlfriend that it cost £100 less than it actually did :oops:

I have a TiTech VR46 lid which I love. I bought it about fifteen months ago.

It's light and comfortable and the anti-fog coating on the visor works pretty well. It's not the quietest lid, but it's very stable at speed and the ventilation works well. The lid and lining feel well made, but some of the ancilliaries, such as the breath-deflector with its weak lugs, feel cheaper. Some of the stitching has broken on the "neck roll".

I find the visor very quick and simple to remove and refit. It takes you about 30 seconds the first few times you try it. I can now get the thing off or back on in about 5.

It has a very tight fit, the cheekpads especially: you look a bit of a hamster when you're wearing it. Go for the absolutely smallest size you can pull over your head. I ended up with a small! The lining will give after a month or so's use and you'll be able to slip it on and off with ease.

I had a cheaper AGV lid before which felt comfortable in the shop but, after a few months, was looser than a loose thing.

But best of all, it improves the quality of your riding no end. Honest!!

The White zoo feels different to the old ti techs as they have changed many of its features, they are always striving to make them stronger but lighter, and all the internals have changed. The new Ti-techs are called the TiTech Evolution!!!
