Insurance Group??
Anyone tell me what they know is the current group classification for the SV650S?
I thought it was 10? Does this vary from one insurer to the next? I thought it was set by an industry body? Cheers |
yes insurance group 10
http://www.parkers.co.uk/pricing/use...=6164&plate=73 the naked one is a 9 i think. |
Cheers Kwak, time to make a call :(
Just spied a group 14 listing on my documents. I think I may have been ripped off. That'll teach me to read the bundle of crap they sent out. |
the sv1000s is a group 14 make sure they have'nt got the 2 mixed up.

Doesn't it depend who you're with? I think Motorcycle Direct for one use a different grouping system than the standard Norwich Union system.

Checked out Ebike, they are only £50 out from what i paid.
New rider (32), 0 yrs no claims, not garaged, alarmed, anchored, dotted. Looks like it's just a different classification system. Was all ready for a shouting match then! :O Still had to ask though. Thanks guys |
It is NU10... which means if you're insuring with Norwich Union, it's group 10.
S's and naked's tend to be the same group - but that group does depend on the company you're insuring with. At the end of the day, compare price... it's the only think you can compare between the companies - other than service, and I hope you never learn if that's good or bad - because it means you've claimed. |
