Bike Mags - Mortorcycle Sports & Leisure.

After looking through the magazines the other day in WH Smith's, I noticed "Motorcycle Sports & Leisure". Now Mr Squid had previously posted that this was a good read, so I decided to buy it and use it for my reading matter while having to use the train twice this week.

Have to say it's a much better read than the other mags. Some of the articles are very interesting (espeically the guy with the custom CBX streetfighter). The touring section is great and the bike reviews are not full of four letter words and people telling you how easy the thing is to wheelie. Much more down to earth info.

If you haven't tried it I suggest you give it a go, I think I'll be a regular from now on....

Thanks Squidster, never would have looked at it without your comments....

Sounds like it's worth a look. Most of my TWO's are lying around unread.

I'm bored of the usual Gixxer/CBR/ZXRR PR that seems to flood these mags.

Must be gettin' old!

I read it when I have money and see it in the shops. That and streetfighers are my favourite, next is TWO but that seems to be suffering a bit, despite the attempts at new sections.

I think TWO's gone way downhill... Ride and Bike seem to be on a wee bit of a rebound though. I like PB and Streetfighters myself. Picked up a copy of MS&L a wee while back and I wasn't impresed, the balance of articles was better but I thought the journalism and photography was pretty poor. There was a touring article that read like "What I did on my holidays, by Jim teh Biker aged 9" ;) There was a whole-pagefeatuer of someone telling us that modern sportsbikes don't handle well beause they're too tall, and that long low bikes are better  Other than that, though, it wasn't bad I thought.
