I went today

heres where we goin and the location and field etc etc..


NOW- I know some folk want the surprise.

so if u dont wanna see- dont look.

I said dont look.. :shock:

Seems pretty sparse to me! Or extremely foggy, as I can see b*gger-all!!

site is off on the left of pic.. right on the river side..

this is on the bridge with the river and campsite there on the left.. u se emy bike on the car park..

thats not the field we are in- ours is off to the right oppo the car park.. better I think.. less road noise.. nd less mozzies off the river.. and- its all OURS !

its not the field u can see- its hidden with bushes.. u can just see top of a white van.. thats in the near corner.... not the big white van on left.. just above/right of the man lying down ..

one side of the back of the pub.

kids play area too- but scoobs not coming !!.....

see thats the white lorry/vanthat the field is behind.- its ideal


and here are the toilet/shower facilities for campers - didnt look inside but it appears really really clean and fresh and that the owners are proud of their pub and facilities.

off to the left are static and touring caravans.. and to the right is the field near the river that has tents in (THE ONE IN PIC 2 )- it appears there is no tap in our field but the fresh water tap is really close..

the one you ride over on the way in....

maybe it would be nice to camp right near it... but that field is smaller .. and the mossies there will be incessant...

it really is a 30 second walk to the river..

and theres a great walk along the side of the river- I know me n kim will be wandering for a few miles down the side of that on sat tea time..looks lovely.

really lovely scenery ... and tranquil.. well it was today ... ... I am sure we wont rev the bikes and we will be mature and sensible.. ... no doubt plod will soon be aware when we descend- so rowdines may only lead to local complaints and spot checks of exhausts and alcohol breath.. but we are good boys n girls..
