Had our wheels powdercoated over 3 years. They're still fine and just recently powdercoated the torque arm, rear caliper hanging bracket, kick plates and rear foot rest hangers. Can't help on Scottish PCers though.

Don't know anybody in Edinburgh, but if you want to travel to the real world ESP in Glasgow do a great job. Call Trevor Shieff on 0141 336 3800. Don't know how much they charge for wheels, but last time I was in the had loads of alloy wheels in. They did a great job on a load of parts for a Yamaha RD 400 part I am restoring at the moment

Alan at BBS is your man in Edinburgh... Small operation now, he operates more or less out of his garage- but he does good work at a more than good price. They used to be bigger but he's cut things down and now mainly does bike stuff. He did both of my wheels and the sprocket carrier for £100, IIRC- that was a fairly expensive powder though, from memory a solid would have been way less.

Plus, if you go up to the house to pick up or drop off stuff, you get to have a look at his 7/11s ;)

ESP are very good too...
