just to show you guys how my leg is developing, and probably a good advert for the use of leathers....mr dainese if you are reading this :lol:

the rod going from my hip to my knee is permanent as its been inserted into the shaft. and on the opposite side to what you see here is a hole about a centimetre wide where the leg was penetrated completely from the front straight through to the other side bit like a bullet hole "during the war ........... :lol: "

recovery is going slowly but very well i am now doing physio every 2nd day and each alternate day i do gym work and swimming..the pain still comes and goes without warning yesterday was a bad day coudnt walk more than 5-6 steps but other days i can quite happily trundle into town by myself...to be honest i feel pretty good and count my blessings every day :lol:
