Hi chaps,

I'm new on here so I thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm 23, from Sidcup and I'm a train engineer for London Underground. I've got an 06 plate faired pointy model in red. I swapped it for my R6 and I reckon it's the best move I've made. So far I've fitted a double bubble Fabri dark tint screen, seat cowl, tail tidy, small plate and I've changed the graphics. Shortly I will be removing the rear footpegs and fitting a M4 full race system and changing the tyres to something a bit more sticky. I'll put a few pictures on here later. Are you all meeting up tonight?

Hi and welcome,

We are indeed, have a look in the announcement under "where we meet" for a map link, if you turn up go through the carpark and you'll see the bikes parked up.

it maybe an idea to also add your location to your profile as the above post will be lost in time.

perhaps see you tonight.

Cheers Mark.

Riverhead

I won't be able to make it to Riverhead tonight as I'm working nights. Damn I hate work! I'll do my best to make it next time. What time do you meet down there?

That's a shame. I could have talked to you about trains. Hope you can make it another week!

You can talk about trains if you like but I'd have to kill you! Trains must be the most depressing form of transport known to man. I get free travel and even I don't use them!

Oh no, the tube gets that vote. The trains into Charing Cross are air conditioned which is fantastic this week. More so than the 47 degrees on the tube and 52 on the buses.

And its quiet - the 6.46 nigh on everyones dozing by Staplehurst, and getting on at Ashford and Charing Cross is a guaranteed seat.

You know, as much as I loved commuting by bike - I really dont miss the nutters in London traffic and I now have about 18 hours a week to start my open university course and do something constructive. :D

Well we have very different experiences of public transport. I normally get the dribbling tramp sitting next to me or I get sandwhiched between two fatties!
