electrics intermittent fault

I went to skeggy on Monday (nice day and nice ride). Anyway, when coming home I got stuck in the usual queues tryin to leave a place like this and my bike cut out on me on about 5 times. At first I thought it might be me doing somethinig wrong, when I noticed that my display (K3) kept swithing off and then on, therefore cutting out and I was having to restart. The bike wasnt running hot. I stopped checked a few things and on the ride home, which is about 80 miles, it was fine.

The only difference was I had a tank bag on, which Ive had a few times before without issue (thought the strap may have caught a wire). I also did the fuel injection mod the day before, the one that alters the fuel delivery from 3000 revs to 1450 revs.

It seems to have dissapeared now but wasnt sure what it was. Has anyone any clues where I might check to make sure it doesnt happen again.

If all you insruments are going dead it's a power faliure (or short) it's worth checking the battery terminals and relay are on tight. Obviously be a bit careful about not toutching anything from +'ve to the Frame which is -'VE as I've heard that you get a blue flash and a little bit of scorching on the screwdriver
