Just saw Abyss' repair with the real thing and it looked mint. Didn't really get the chance to walk the track and find mine :roll:

THanks for the ideas, not really sure what heat shrink is or more importantly wear to get it from.

You can get heatshrink from Maplins, but it's not ideal for you. I remember an Ebay auction selling the wee toe things...
