Hello, and battery question

Well, after a long absence I'm back online, so 'Hello!' to all the old and new folks.
I'm living in Sweden now, any other Swedes here?

The battery question is this, I just ordered a battery for a 1998 sv, but my bike is a 2001 (don't ask!) so is it the same battery or do I need to cancel the order?

Thanks in advance!

I thought the SV was first made in 1999. Anyways the battery for all the curvies are the same. YT12A-BS

Cheers
Ben

Thanks guys!
The bike has been sitting in a friend's barn for nearly 10 months, and apart from the battery, it started first time and ran like a beaut!
Can't wait to get back on the open road, have the Swedish version of MOT booked for the 24th! Yay!

Ok 'first sold in 1999'. I've never come across a 98 SV as in SV650 w or
SV650S w :P

Cheers
Ben

ooooh, yes! Got a big house out in the country with a load of land that cost a fraction of the tiny flat I had in Dulwich! And the roads are empty and there are no hedges so you can see what's coming for miles!
And as for all the blondes and herrings.....
