zx10r shock
I finally got around to fitting my '06 zx10r shock onto my curvy, following the excellent instructions from red5 here:
http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=42455 all seems okay except that the shock reservoir seems rather to be rubbing up against rear subframe. anyone else have trouble with this? any ideas? tx ~andy |
Do you mean its rubbing up against the bit under the rear of the fuel tanks and it stops the battery from moving?

I can probably file 0.5-1.0mm off the end of the reservoir without getting into anything important, I just wanted to see whether I was missing anything obvious, like putting the shock in upsidedown or something (don't think that would fit though ;-) |
I just put mine on this week also but have not rode it yet. Hopefully I can ride it this weekend.

I still need a stiffer spring on the zx10r shock. I have got 36mm of static sag and would like to get down to around 32.
