Well after a long deliberation i have taken the plunge and traded the k5 svs for a GSR600. I have become a member of a gsr forum and its amazing just how many gsr owners are former sv riders.
The trade in price was in my opinion pants (£2800) but dealer told me that the kwak ER6 has hit sv sales hard so the sv isn't selling so well.
Ill still hang around here if its ok with you guys, have enjoyed the banter and in my opinion its a quality site.
Will keep you posted as to how the GSR performs.

sweet bike , how many miles did your SV have on as would like an idea how much my 6 month old SV650sk5 is worth with 7k miles on

The sv that I traded only had 600 miles on it ! Dont thik mileage is a major issue
its the BOOK price ( i had two dealer quotes both the same) none commented one mileage.
