kill spills..

Yes i know there are at least 2 other threads about this but i thought i'd get us locals to organise where we meet up and ride there together. I'm geographicaly the closest i think and you're all welcome to come to my place first and we'll all ride there together. Its about a 15mins gentle ride to the Ace from mine.

or you could all suggest something better, maybe the Toys R Us car park at Brent Cross or something.

Yup I'd be up for that. PM me your postcode so I can pull up a map on the PC before leaving.

Yeh it'd be nice to have time for a coffee and a natter and the queues in there can be ridiculous at times.

Guys who went on the kill spills - lost you all in the ride down to Westminster - no surprise really given there were more than 5000 of us! I didn't park up but went straight home - GSXR was transformed into a serious oven and the heat/leathers/thigh chaffing thing was not a good mix.

Hope you all had a brill time!

Yeh shame we lost you hun, we (me, squid, cazz, svstreet) all left shortly after we got to embankment too. Just hung about long enough to have an ice cream and a bit of a cool down.

Was there realy about 5000 bikes then? I know it was LOTS but havnt seen an official or semi official numbers yet. Tho i did hear we were on the news on the day so thats a good thing.

I so understand about the heat from your bike tho, that 1 time i rode it was enough to nearly kill me. You sure it hasnt got a built in microwave generator or something to create all that heat? :D

Hey Claire - yes, sorry we lost track of you! Mind you, we didn't even find you in the first place. Squidders and I only managed to find Zig and Paul about 30 seconds before we all arrived at Embankment.

Hope you enjoyed the ride - even if it was rather sweaty.

Oh yes, and you missed Zig taking his trousers off on Embankment. Who wants to see the pics?
