just found a post with this site on. why r all the good deals have to be done online if i drive the 150mile round trip to a shop to buy somthing they should at least charge the same as if i sit here on my @rse drinking coffee the shop wants to charge me twice as much for going to their shop to look round + the fact that it will cost in petrol :toss: stupid f$*%ing shop |
Because it's cheaper for them to run their business online, so they want to encorage you to use it?
Stupid thread. |
so why dont they shut 4 shop eh?
|
Probably because it still makes them money.

... Best bet is to go to a shop near you to try things on and order online I guess. |
if its on offer online, it should be on offer in the shop

ITS FAVOURITISM TO PEOPLE WITH THE INTERNET, IF ITS £50 ITS £50 YES I AM SHOUTING  |
Have you actually contacted the nice folks at J&S?
If you NEED to try something on to make sure it fits right, lids, leathers etc etc, then give them a bell. Ask them if they've got the item(s) in stock, and go try them on. Makes no odds to them to seel them at internet price or at shop price, but it costs them more to get stock to the shop from a warehouse, so they put the prices up a little. This is what I do, and I take along a printout of the price I saw it on their website. I go to the shop (which is also their HQ) and pay the t'inter-web price. Simple really. |
yes, i did phone & he said if you come to the shop we will charge you full price
i could go to bristol & try things on,then come home to cardiff to order them....it just seems stupid  |
