I am very tempted, I might have a look see if there are any places left and what the weather is like later in the week.

Never done a trackday so a little bit scared about crashing, number of people on track etc.

crashing isn't compulsory :-)

if it's your first time you'll get a dayglo bib so people give you plenty of space

mallory's a good track for the SV's, not too much straight for the il4's to howl past you on

tempting 8)

think i need a bit more riding under my belt first( only done 3 weeks)

& a bike that starts would be a bonaus

Do you need to prep the bike at all ?

i.e take mirrors off, tape up lights etc ?

take off/turn in/tape up your mirrors; turn off/tape up your headlights

that's it really, you can take more stuff off if you want, but you don't need to since you're not going to crash :-)
