FAO New riders - Insurance
Hi
Put a deposit on a 2003 pointy SVs at the weekend (blue, fully faired, mint as :-D) So my question is for new riders who have bought an SV for their first bike (after doing DAS etc) Who are you insured with and how many of you are paying under £400 for TPFT on a unrestricted bike?? Thanks |
Tis the postcode lottery...
When I passed my DAS and got my SV, Carole Nash insured me for £600 fully comp but the postcode was slightly(not totally) dodgy  |
Just passed my test and got TPFT from Carol Nash for £410. No one else could beat that price. Its also a K3 pointy. :)

Well my best so far is £365 from Bennetts and I live in West Yorkshire, so not the nicest of postcodes!
Maybe i should just go with that.... |
SW4 i..e South of the River. £650-ish for TPFT. AQuote Ins using Nowrich Union. The cheapest. SK model.

Devitt Insured my SV for £369 Comprehensive when I was a new rider.
Bennets are expensive... Try getting a quote from Ebike. Also apparently Suzuki's own insurance policies are competative. |
Passed DAS and bought a curvy.
I've gone with Motorcycle Direct for £285 TPFT, in West Yorkshire, 27 years old. |
This is my first big bike. I did my DAS in Februray this year. I have Fully Comp with Equity Red Star. I paid £170.
