Does my Blueflame look to big ?

I have had a couple of remarks about my end CAN looking a bit long.

After looking at the bike side on and lots of erms I think they might be right as the end of the CAN is inline with the end of the bike.

Have a look in this pic

ps this is a old pic and have a tail tidy on so it looks even longer now!

What am I to do if it is too long??

Bloody hell, you from St Annes and a perfectly good manufacturer of after market cans up the road from you in fleetwood and you have to buy the most unreliable make of can to put on a v twin.

Yes it looks too big, don't worry it will fall apart within the year and you will have a valid excuse to then replace it.

It does look a tad long compared to mine. I'll take a close up of mine when there's better weather and I find a camera.

Yikes, my Remus is about 2/3 the size of that :?

An exhaust that big must mean he's compensating for something.

It looks a smidgen long, yes.

If that was mine, I'd chop it down so that the exits are at exactly the same length as the tip of the tail section. Or maybe the grabrail. I don't know how the Blue Flames are plumbed internally though, might be a bit less easy than with my single ports.

And make sure it's good and tight at the bracket too, that'll cut the vibrations which is what usually breaks up Blueflames I reckon. The less play, the less flap, and the less wear.

Beg Rod Geskill for a K5 link pipe - it's shorter.
Worked for me :D

Is your bike lowered? could be why it looks wrong?

Bike has not been lowered.
Is that Rod at Blueflame?

I agree with Stu. looks like you have the wrong link pipe. You can email rod at

He's a good guy to deal with.

Couple of pics to compare. I've noticed the length seems to change depending on the angle photographed at ie slightly left or right.
