Curvy Seat Cowl in Yellow - Sold
I thought I'd try out a seat cowl on my bike, but to be honest it's not for me. Unfortunately I did not have it from new and it does not have the colour code on it or the manufacturers details, but I'm pretty convinced it's the Pyramid plastics one.
Looking for £50 for it. These are £115 new from Pyramid. You'll need to transfer the locating pins from your rear seat to the cowl. It's two bolts and takes about 2 mins. It has the in-fills to fill-in the bits where the grab handle fits and the black cushion pad fitted to the front so it's quite comfy when you slam into it under acceleration as I found out when my far too slippy waterproof trousers threw me back into it the other day. Looks like this (Image stolen from another site, so this is not the actual one) http://upload4.postimage.org/1402404/cowl.jpg There are a couple of very minor black marks on it from a tail pack, I'm sure they'll polish out and I may even polish them out myself then come back and edit the post to say it is unmarked. If you've got a yellow curvy, want a cowl live somewhere near Fleet (Hampshire J4a M3) and want to come over and see if it matches your paint then get in touch. It's kind of an orangy, custard-yellow rather than light highlighter yellow. I'm not up on my yellows for the SV all I know is it is a rubbish colour match for my blue bike. It could be posted if you want to take a chance on the colour I expect postage would be £6-8 but can sort that out if needed. Price does NOT include P&P. Cheers, Mark |
