Monitor Calibration
Do any of you calibrate your monitors at all? What software do you use todo it?
|
Hi,
I just got a Spyder 2 Express, which is a physical doohickey as well as software. You stick it on your screen and run the software and it makes sure it all looks right. Cost about 70 pounds. I think the general concensus of opinion is that a physical device is better than software alone. Can't remember the name of any software, but have a search around on here: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/ I know there's loads of discussions about it. If you're not doing high end photo work, software only is probably ok I guess. |
I use a colorvision colouplus spyder, much better and simpler than software only calibration.
