playing music on pc
 

when i am listening to music on my pc it just started jumping & skipping now & then, anybody know why??

Maybe your stylus is blunt. Stick a penny on the end of arm to stop it jumping. :wink:

Are you playing stuff you've downloaded, or a cd?

If it's from the web, there's a chance you've downloaded a dodgy/damaged file.

Is it every track or just one or two?

its stuff i have downloaded, it was all ok yesterday,but it seems as if it is all the tracks now?

What's probably happening is that all of the viruses, spam trojans, spyware etc. on your PC are using up a lot of resources and hogging the CPU, so that there's not enough processing power left to play the music properly.

:shock: what can i do about this? i have also noticed that the computer can keep up with my typing & i am quite crap at it

You have got some form of anti-virus on your PC havent you.
