MCN Centre page Standard SV650s WINS RACE!
 

Just wanted to let you know I just picked up MCN and whilst it's full of drivel I still enjoy reading it.

Anyway - got to the centre page and Adam Childs enteres a stone stock SV650s into 2 races, sound of thunder and minitwins, comes 3rd in one and 1st in the other!

It's a good read and nice to see a bit of praise going to the SV rather than the usual - " The old SV just can't cut it anymore" you usually read in reviews!

Also a great A4 stood up wheely phot which looks pretty cool.

Pick up a copy guys and girls it's good pub discussion winning material!!!

Is this at a new era meet?

If so did he mention how many actual bikes were out there in the mintwins class as from what i saw at snetterton there was only one mintwin out there with a bunch of desmo-due bikes chasing while 20hp down.

without reading it my gut feeling says MCN is once again living up to it's reputaion as ''more crap than news''

yup t new era there were only one, the rest were desmo due bikes entered into the same class but are some 10bhp down at least!. Typical MCN!!! :lol:

So is that why the SV won?! :lol:

Seems a bit unfair racing against bikes who are less powerful. Desmo due who?

Desmodue = comparatively cheap(NO RACING IS CHEAP!!!) racing in 2 classes. i think one's for almost standard Ducati 600ss + 600 monster and one's for 620 fuel injected Ducati's watched a couple of rounds at Snetterton looked quite good fun.

ah it was run at Auto66 at Cadwell...not a club really any minitwins race with!. In fact there were 3 in his class..one a ducati monster. Looks like he was doing 1.50m laps...where as a quick mintwin with Bemsee did 1.38's round there!!! :lol:

The point I was making is its good advertising for the SV and not like the usual negitives they say, just cos its a few years old.

Anyway its still a good read and a few good shots of the SV.
