Well that's fine if your just pootling round town but on the open roads I've reached in excess of 67 kmph and at those kinds of death defying speeds a curved machine would simply disintegrate. This is a FACT and has been proven by scientists. They also proved that pointy men are better and more generous lovers and that curvy men are little girls. :P
