edited to get rid of the details but saw a guy smoking weed and called the police. Got a battering on another forum so taking my post down.

personaly i'd rather ride next to a chilled guy smoking a doobie..... than some hyped up fool in a 4x4 on a hand held mobile.
but whats the chances of a cop pulling the latter over the former?

Also following someone into a industrial estate is not the best of ideas mate. If he'd driven at you or stuck you with a knife there aint may peeps about to see it or help you.

guess you did what you thought was best, so fair play to you.

I'd have probably asked for a drag or 2 and had a well chilled ride home ;)

Yeh, i'm curios too. Was it cos its a site where everyone smokes and rides and thinks what you did was OTT? Please tell us.

I got told it was wasting police time, people drive better when stoned, whats it got to do with me, thats harrassment, blah blah. **** that, i don't think they're right but i can't be bothered to argue with people.

I just hope that it stops an accident happening, and that the fact that people are willing to report people driving while intoxicated stops it happening more often.

Its a reputable motoring site where most people are older and have nice cars, into racing etc boyracers are frowned on. I was quite suprised.

I'm open minded and not anti weed given the right circumstances, probably no worse than alcohol - but when driving isn't the right time and it needs to be stopped.

peeps drive better when stoned??? news to me :smt033 (i dont smoke...but know peeps that do)

I never feel safe in a car with a stoner behind the wheel. Accident waiting to happen.
