New heights of chocolatey pleasure
Must tell you this. Have recently discovered the TimTam chocolate biscuit bar - similar to our domestic penguin, but with the biscuit somewhat softer in texture. It is made by Arnott's and hails from Australia. Sainsburys - £1.39 for a pack of 11(?)
The reason that I have to share this guilty secret with you (if you haven't already discovered it) is the left-field aussie way of enjoying this little bickie with a cup of tea (rooibos for me, but any will do). This treat is apparently known to addicts as the "TimTam slam". You take a tiny bite from diagonally opposite corners of the TimTam and then use the remainder as a sort of drinking straw - brief hard suck to infuse . You then pop the glorious melting result (you have to be a bit quick here to avoid complete disintegration) and I defy you not to enjoy the heavenly melting choc-hit that ensues. Don't eat them all! |
don't let Lyn see this :drunken:

Right than, I feel an urge to make a cup of tea now

Tried it before and its a real gooey yum-yum. And it was because the sexy Natalie Imbriglia (sp) suggested it on a talk show a couple of years back.
Took me ages to find Tim Tams but i think even Tesco have them now. |

Though I never used to eat tim tams out there. Arnotts, who IIRC make tim tams, also made some triple choc cookies which were divine and even better than tim tams..... Damn it! I want some now =P~ :P |
mmm..... chocolatey!! Thanks :D :D
I wonder if it works even better with hot chocolate instead of tea. |
Bought some yesterday to try this Aussie wonder. Yes it's good :smt016
