Muffs

I know some of you have these, what are they like on an SV650s? Is turning unaffected by them as they stick out quite abit? Are they restrictive in anyway?

I'm thinking of getting some muffs and heated grips so I just wondered, they should make alot of difference.

I did a search but didn't see a thread that deals with this aspect of the fitting.

Cheers,

Joe.

I tried a pair once but did not get on with them myself. Although I do not look at my hands when riding, being unable to see them put me off and it makes it a lot harder to flick V's at a driver in a rush.

If you want a secondhand pair, you can have mine for half new price + postage. Or if you're passing M3 J4a you can save on the postage and pick them up. I'm fairly sure they are Oxford ones but I'll only dig them out if you're interested.

Cheers,
Mark

Oops.

Well I suppose that is the upside of it, the ones I was looking at were these:

Which I think looks like a good idea, if anyone else is interested too.

Are the muffs and grips easy to fit to the bike? I want warm hands but not if it's too tricky :D
