Lixl pipe on '99 SV650 (NewB question)

1st of all, congrats guys on having such a great place with a wealth of knowledge, this is a great site.

I am currently thinking about buying an SV650, one has come up locally which I am going to look at on Saturday. It is fitted with a Lixl pipe however, and I am unsure if it will pass MOT with this. Do these have removable baffles? Is it likely to be road legal or would I be looking at having to buy a road legal pipe to get it through MOT ?

I'm sure the seller could answer these questions, however I thought that impartial advice would be better :lol:

Presume you mean 'ixil' and yes it should be road legal. Road legal but with fixed baffle. :) I had the same.

I have the 2005 Ixil Titanium High mount on my 2000 curvy sv650 and it rocks the **** out of it man !! no 1000 comes near my sound !

also increases the power in the lower rpm's
