The awesome River Severn
Flooding - these are a few of the town centre today taken on my mobile. In the fist pic, the river is usually several metres in front of the trees and the boat park should be on dry land. Just downstream the flooding is into residential streets, people have their sandbags out.

(why does the government and councils approve the building of houses etc on flood plains?) |
Not much you can do to stop that.

Wait till the Boar arrives.

Those pics are the town centre, not the more outlying areas - a village called Atcham just a few miles down the road is badly flooded. Bridgnorth will get it tomorrow, Worcester will get it Sunday.
