Mesh for meshing-in the holes in fairing

Where can one find suitable mesh for putting in the fairing bits? Just fancied a bit of it, especially after finding a few leaves in my belly pan as they'd crept in the cut outs in the pan.

Also take it that stainless meshi is a must?

or alloy mesh, you can buy it from car parts shops they use it for filling damaged areas so the filler binds to it.

Smart, I'll get myself down to the local car partery and see what I can find.

Thought about having a go at this myself after seeing a yellow curvey with gold mesh inserts on this forum. Looking at the above it seems that a few have fitted some - the one I have seen looked very smart and was tastefully done just cant remember the name of the member who had done it.
Now - hows the best way of attaching it to the fairing - any ideas ?

If you go for the body filler type mesh, i would recommend giving it a coat of lacquer if your not going to paint it as road grime eats through it, especially this time of year with gritting and salting

Mine is genuine Ripspeed... The Halfords badge of quality, yo. It was about £20 for a sheet, which is absolutely taking the p in ways I can't even begin to describe, but they have a good selection and they do ally, stainless, anodised...
