KTM - track car in development (four wheels better? )
 

I'm sure some members of this forum will be delighted to know that in the near future they can purchase a four wheeled vehicle, aka a car, from those persons at KTM.
KTM in conjunction with race car chassis specialists Dallara and Teutonic pseudo-premium brand mongers Audi are to produce up to 500 units per anum of their 2litre turbo charged track car. The motor is the 2litre FSi unit as shoehorned into a host of VAG products, most widely know from the seemingly ubiquitous Golf GTi.
Seems like it would be a serious rival to the Elise if more along the less all rounder/practical veins of the old Elise 340R. So if you've got €40000(£26) to throw at a serious fun machine then roll up, rool up.
