What is an SV like to ride? After Passing ur A2?

Heya, just passed my A2 test and am looking at getting an SV. What do you all think of them? are they nice to ride? I currently have an NSR125.
I like the pointy ones, but would consider a curvy lol. Help me

Asking the converted here matey! They are an ace first bike and keep many of us more 'experienced' riders happy. You won't regret buying one. Get a curvy, they are faster!!

And Welcome to the Mad House!!

It's always hard to describe how a bike feels. All I can tell you is that the SV is one of those bikes that is definitely more than the sum of its parts. It's cheap, and a great starting point. Have a ring round to local dealers to see if you can get a test ride.

hi mate, firstly welcome to the site,
well firstly i went straight onto a curvy after passing my test, and i love it, i have never ridden b4 my test, (properly that is) and i found it great, love every second i get to spend on her!!!
i would say that its a good first real bike, it is is very different to your 125, and there will be some people out there that will say that you shouldn't get a twin for your first bike because of the engine breaking, but as long as you bare this in mind when you start riding and learn to give the engine a little blip on the down shifts you will be fine, and then you can just go out and have fun!!!!
