Your Unusual Christmas Tradition

Is there something you do every year at Christmas to celebrate??

In our family it has to be Christmas dinner this evening and opening presents after - but the weird bit is we dance around the Christmas tree holding hands and singing songs before opening the presents. My wife is Danish and this is how they have always celebrated.

Merry Christmas!! :rendeer:

Our tradition is we always stay up having a drink on Christmas eve, and my mum lets me & Dad open one present each.

I swear though, as I've got older, my Dad has regressed and now behaves more like a kid than I ever did at Christmas, wanting to open all his presents on christmas eve & wanting to eat nothing but a chocolate orange or toblerone for breakfast on christmas day!

Only thing I tend to do is go for a ride, just another day to me but with empty roads :)

Well I like a couple of the traditional things they do over here in Espaņa.

1 is the eating of 12 grapes....one for each chime of the bells ringing in the New Year. The other is the gifting of red panties/lingerie to the lady in your life as a special good luck new year prezzie!

My Mum always has a sausage roll and a glass of champagne for breakfast on Christmas morning. :D
