Bike watch and pickup

Guys,

Any help or friendly advice?

A guy at work is looking at this:-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MakeTrack=true

1: Any suggestions on things to check?
2: It's in Wales and he does not ride.....Whats the best thing to do? Shall I just go and get the train and pick it up for him? Can he pick it up and bring it back on the train?

Any useful tips would be appreciated.

Regards
Neil

You won't be able to bring it back on the train, unfortunately. Used to be able to, can't anymore ;)

If he is serious in getting it, then he will have to put himself out and go and have a look. It looks fairly tidy in the pics, and probably selling as now all his firends dont talk to him as he bought a BMW ;)

Usual things to look for. Accident damage, service history, general condition, but at 1250 miles, it shouldnt need much.

IF he did decide it was for him why dont you both go up on train, buy it and you ride it back and he goes pillion, that way he would know what his new bike was like lol

Thats a great looking bike. www.f650.com will have a list of things to look for.

Viney, I think he has plenty of mates, look what else is in the garage. Quite special mates tho
