Replacement Screen
Hi,
I am new to this site, I have a Sv 650s K6 model with full fairing and am looking for an replacement screen but can't find any that specify they fit the K6. Will any screen to fir a K4 onwards fit my bike. Also, is is possible to get an aftermarket exhaust without having to saw off the original one? Thanks, Mark |
screens from k3 onwards should fit, and you do have to cut your exhaust unless you buy a part or full system.

You can usually get new full stock systems pretty cheap. Might be worth sourcing one for when you want to sell the bike. Then you can chop with confidence.
Otherwise the cheapest full system new is probably hindle, but there's no way it's road legal! |
Thanks for that guys, I will get a screen sorted but think I will leave the exhaust for now

Exhaust
Hi monkey, if it any help i would highly recommend speakin to these guys...sorted my k6 out a dream! www.mtcexhausts.co.uk they done all the work in about 30 mins, and made me a great cuppa! £150 got me a single outlet oval stainless with removable baffles, fitted! it now actually sounds like a v-twin and given me about another 5 or 6 horses...really can't say enuff about martin & his crew. worth a call
