The oldest competitor is a 65 Y.O. guy from Lanarkshire - Robbie Allan on a Honda 450.
Robbie's just entered his 50th year of motorcycle competition including TTs and up until a couple of years ago, 6 hour endurance racing (which they won!)

unfortunatly he dropped out on stage 7 reason as yet unknown

but the website is doing a poll on your dakar hero. Robbie is listed in the poll mid way down right of centre. go on give him your click and lets see if we can get his percentage up a bit
