SV650s Servicing

Does anyone know when the 4th service should be carried out, my 3rd service was done July last year @ 7814 miles?

What does the 4th service cost and what is carried out in it?

I am thinking of having it done at ECBates in Dartford as they are my local Suzuki dealer, has anyone got any experience with them?

Oh yeah - my bike now has almost 10,000 miles on the clock!

Roughly every 3500 miles, or every year.

4th is due at 11000 miles or 36 months according to the K5 owners manual

Sorry, dunno, mine's only now due for the 7.5k service.

I guess roughly the same price as your last service as valve clearances don't need to be done til the 5th service.

Shouldn't be much. It's same service schedule as 4,000 miles. Oil change (doesn't specify changing the filter but I would) and general lube,grease, inspect, etc.

If you do a search you should be able to find a service schedule, or look in your handbook.

The parts are priced as follows; Oil £18 or £24 depending on whether you go for semi or fully synthetic.
An oil filter is £9.75 (genuine). An airfilter is around the £24 mark. And spark plugs are £11 the pair.
You get 10% off the above prices.
Sundry items including brake fluid & coolant usually come to around the £10 mark

I'll be seeing Spanner Man this saturday for my 11k service. It's late already, and it's a fair few miles to Spanner Man :oops:
