Moto GP champ predictions and why?

Come on then time for a heated debate!

Maybe one of the nice Moddy peeps might consider making this a sticky?

Each will have their own reasons and thinking,(not necesarily sensible in the eyes of others but valuable all the same.)

So what is your forecast for the 1,2,3 finish come Valencia and who will be the first 800cc MOto GP champ?

Will be interesting perhaps to reflect back on this thread when the end of season discussions are taking place!

I'm gonna go with:

1) Rossi - still the best out there, just had an off season with a few freaky retirements
2) Pedrosa - 800's will suit him down to the ground
3) Capirossi - the Ducati's did well last year

Capirossi and Pedrosa might end up the other way round but deffo Rossi for the championship.

1-Vale

2-Pedrosa

3-Capirossi

Can't be arsed to type reasons, but that's my 07 1,2,3.

snap!

08!?

Rossi could be racing powerboats or something by then.

1. Rossi
2. Melandri
3. Capirossi

Rossi is going to be hungry after defeat this year. Melandri and Capirossi at full fitness will be forces to reckoned with especially as Melandri is already having good results with the new Bridgestone tyres.

Pedrosa I think will win races, but I dont think yet hes hard enough to battle with the big boys.

Who dares to bet against Rossi? Not me either.

1.Rossi.The best ever, and true class will shine.
2.Haydon.He is good and consistent.
3.Pedrosa.As he gains experience he will turn talent into more consistent results.

I see Pedro as a dark horse though. Most champions over the years have also had a bit of personality, and I just wonder if Pedro lacks that spark of life that moves things on to greatness.

LOL, I'm gonna be different then!!

1. Rossi
2. Capirossi
3. Hopkins

Alpinestarhero 04-02-07 05:54 PM

No! I'm going to be differant!

1) Melandri. As long as he stays injury free, he'll win.

2) Capirossi. Too good. Might even win.

3) Valentino. The best. Obviously might win, but definatly for top three.

Interesting how thus far only one of our wisley folk has mentioned the defending champion? He of course only rides possibly "the best" machine out there with all the might of HRC behind it. How about he might just wanna show them there european folks that it werent no fluke him winnin that there champ yun ship? :-k
