I met Philip Mac today
What a nice, personable bloke. Went to a coffee house and chatted for the best part of an hour about all sorts of things, was like I'd known him for years - which I spose I have really.
Good to meet you Philip PS You don't look much like your avatar |
Are you in New York then or am I getting confused ?

Oh boy, now I'm really feeling sorry for you... :( as if being in New York wasn't enough... |
:p Indeed we did meet. Ed and family and I went for a nice cup of good strong coffee in my local here. Proper stuff, and a big mug of it. Ed approved. His poor wife will be wracking her brains trying to figure out what film that coffee shop was in now.
Very nice to see them, I have to say. We have a nice chat there. I was advising them to go for a nice snowy walk in Central Park there, but I dont think that's going to happen. The weather has taken a bit of a turn for the nasty. And quiet there now Filipe. Just because I met Ed doesn't mean I love you any less. :smt056 |
Hope you got home alright Ed!
The weather was pox central when you were heading off I imagine. Its about -10C here at the moment. And windy... I think you are best off out of it. ;) |

It started snowing on Tuesday evening, yesterday was interesting as they don't grit the troads - everyone drives through 4 inches of slush. Flight severely delayed as we sat on the tarmac at Newark - we eventually took off in a snowstorm, I thought they'd cancel the flight but I was assured that this was entirely normal. Back to work tomorrow:( |
