I was looking into becoming a postman but then I realised I'd have to be in work very early in the morning, deliver in any weather, and carry 8 mailbags up to 16kg.

I used to do a lot of agency work just befor I left the RAF and was a potie for a morning.
Unfortunately, it was leccie bill time so everybody and his dog had a sodding letter so it was a busy morning, it was also the height of summer and damned hot.
When I got back to the depot and handed them the bag, I was more than happy to walk away.
I now work with a lad who used to be a postie and he says that it's getting worse.
What sort of pay are they offering????
