Sv Tilt Switch Help

Hi am having a major problem with my 04 sv race bike.
It starts fine when its on the paddock stand but when its lifted off the engine stops dead and it flashes FI. I then have to disconect the battery which i think resets the bike and it usally starts back up but still having the same problem.I heard the today that it could be the safety tilt switch but i didnt think they had them. Its a strange one i know but if anyone can help i would be gratefull.

Only joking. :(

Does it just do it when lifted off the stand? Could it be a loose connection somewhere that gets knocked as the bike touches the ground or a faulty side stand switch or similar from where road components have been taken off to be modified into race bike.

It has a race loom so there`s no side stand conection. Am going to pull the bike to bits tomorrow and hopefully i`ll find something.
Thanks for your help

yes the pointy has a Tilt switch, or TO Sensor, TOS
it's location is in front of the battery.
