Riding with flat tyre - IM SO STUPID! YOU DONT BE!

I got a huge scare yesterday....
i havent been riding my bike much over the winter, but have made the occasional trip to work on it, including yesterday. My route to work involves a dual carriageway... good for up to 100mph.

when i came out of work yesterday i sat on the bike and it felt a little funny.... i got off and checked the back tyre, which seemed flat!!!
i rode it (carefully) a few mins to the garage, where i found 10 psi in my tyre :smt013
i pumped it right up and listened for air.... nothing...
i decided i could ride it home carefully. Got home, tyre is still hard.
this tyre had a puncture repaired 1 year ago, so could be prone to going down over long winter periods.

i start to worry that the tyre has been flat for weeks, as i didnt check them this year :( .
My bike has been feeling i little unstable at high speeds...

checked the tyre today and it is still hard.

it is so scary to think that i rode the bike up to 100 mph with no air in the back tyre.

LESSON LEARNED!!!! NOW MAKE SURE NOBODY ELSE DOES THIS!!!!!

i picked up a drill bit in my tyre at j10 of the m6 some years ago and got off the m6 at j13 with the bike feeling abit loose at the rear, id traveled down the motorway with a flat at some silly speeds! this is where the tubeless repair kit came in handy and got me home.
