Re: 14.5k service How much should I pay?
Prettymuch. I paid £320 for my 15k service at a place near Bristol (don't know if I can post company names etc ).
Since I don't have a garage and it's quite a service, thought it best to take it somewhere. |
Re: 14.5k service How much should I pay?
I think i paid in the region of £160 for my 15K service at my local suzuki dealer.

Re: 14.5k service How much should I pay?
I'd expect in the region of £200 tbh (assuming valves don't need adjusting, just paying for the check).
I'm doing most of mine myself, and paying someone to do stuff like valve checks. Spread the service out over a couple of weekends when I do it myself, but saves a heck of a lot on cost, and the majority will be done in a single day. |

Re: 14.5k service How much should I pay?
I just called in at my local bike shop (A&D Denbigh - Official Suzuki stealership), and whilst I was there, since my bike needs a service anyhow, decided to ask for a quote on a 15k service.
Including VAT & all bits & pieces they anticipate using, £160 for the job lot!!! If I only want them to do the more complex stuff (like valve check, hose checks, greasing cables up etc), that drops the price to just under £100. Now, can I get all the bits & pieces needed for less than £60? Then factor in time cost to do it myself... It's looking like a dealership service for the 15k!! |
